Great, affordable, compact external hard drive

Backing up your hard drive is very important, and this unit is a great option to do that. Just a couple of notes: I purchased this to back up my Mac Book Pro, which only had USB-C connections, so I had to use a USB-A to USB-C adapter to connect to it. Also, it comes formatted for Window NT, therefore I had to reformat it to ExFAT in order to back up my Mac. Both were easy fixes, but helpful to know in advance.

Inexpensive way to archive my files

I am sunsetting a laptop and moved everything to this 2 TB drive with room to spare for only $69. Yes I" also migrated the data to my new laptop, but this is insurance in case the migration goes bad and will be added to a permanent backup as of the date I used it.
