After quite a bit of research, I went with this one, and I'm glad I did. It set up for my Mac backups without a hitch, and it works perfectly quiet in the background, so I don't even notice it. It gives me stress-free backups. It can't be beat.

The second time I plugged it in, the drive constantly made clicking noises. I noticed the noise eventually stopped, only to discover that it corrupted some data. The device has been carefully handled. This is so disheartening!!!

Late delivery & bad software

I had to call to find out what was happening. The software on the drive would not install properly. I had to go to the maker's site to get the right software. When installed, the software give error messages during system shutdown. So I had to uninstall it.
