Customer Ratings & Reviews

Handy, works well. Simple - but not pleased that it autoloaded WD utilities without me having any say in load or not loading.

This is the second one I purchased from Best Buy during sales. It is a very cost effective way for storing photos and videos.

This tiny external hard drive is a great one. I've been used WD products since 2010, always happy

Misleading ad. I asked for HDD for a mac. this one can be set up for mac bit doesnt come that way. I returned it

The WD - Easystore 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive - Black is a good value

Easy to find. Easy to choose. Good Product. Great Price. Would definitely purchase again if needed.

This device is efficient and affordable. It's not the beefiest so make sure it matches your needs before you decide on it.

I didn't put the information on the device, so I really can't say much about it and I haven't used it since.

I've purchased the 2T and it works very well with me, just do not like the programs came with the hard and uninstalled them.

Bought around a year ago for more storage for his PS4 still uses has worked great so far

Got a great deal on this hard drive. I have it hooked up to my PS4 and it has given me zero issue. Setup was quick and easy. My only complaint is that there is a light in the front that shines when the HD is in use (aka the whole time my PS4 is on) that I had to tape to keep it from shining in my eyes.

I ordered this item online and picked it up a few minutes later, hassle free. The Apple Store needed to backup my computer prior to a repair. The hard drives they sold received bad reviews, but this drive had good reviews. No problems were encountered either backing up or restoring my computer.

I would buy it again, I have been buying a lot from you guys n like it when it comes to my home.

Easy to install, easy to understand, easy read & looks easy to recoup saved information to a new device.

Excellent, low cost drive for either backup or taking to meeting to present data. I currently am using it as a backup drive for my Microsoft Surface Pro (2017). I have another drive used for streaming videos using an old WDTVLive Media device to my TV. It is quiet and works perfectly

The software bundled with the easystore provides a fast, simple and effective backup solution. I purchased 2-units, one is used to backup a netbook and works great for that purpose. The second worked flawlessly connected USB to my NAS for easily transferring data for offsite backup. Highly recommend

Only a year old and it crashed. I lost all my important documents and videos. I am absolutely devastated that I trusted this company/device. I have no clue why it crashed since I took very good care of it and all my electronics including my laptop were all brand new. I cry every time I think about all the files I lost. I regret buying it and I wish I could get my money back. My other hard drive that I have, have lasted for several years, but I switch from a mac to a PC and so I bought this hard drive for my pc and put all my content on it. Big mistake, I lost everything.

This is an excellent storage device. I have been using it since very long time, no problem so far. Recommend it.

Good disk. 2TB space. I like it! The old disk was not working very well, and the games were failing

Works just ok. Failed to save a couple of pictures. If things are important maybe spend the extra and get the better quality
