I had another external hard drive I needed to make a cop of and the 2T WD-Easystore did it. I have a 2013 MacBook pro and had read a few negative reviews about it not working or not finishing once the copying started. No problems whatsoever and it was relatively quick. I formatted the drive according to Apple specifications (this took about 90 seconds) and then started copying my data over in "batches". I was done in a few hours and it works perfectly.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.had this for about a month now...got it on sale at a great price and so far, so good...easy, user-friendly function...literally plug it in and it's ready to go in about 10 seconds...has def been helpful in keeping my laptop from getting too cluttered with drone work...as soon as i got this, i moved about 42GB of photos and videos off the laptop...2TB seems like a lot, but i "fear" that this may fill up faster than expected...lol
