This is the email I received from Western Digital Customer Service and Support: "The reason why WD Security does not recognize the drive is due to the fact that it is not compatible with WD Easystore. WD Security is (compatible) with My Passport Drives." I needed to have an encrypted backup drive for security. This works fine as a paperweight, though. A waste of money.

It takes no more but a few seconds to install and then from there you can start to use the new space for game downloads.
