I would recommend this for anyone wanting to keep information on an external hdd that is not wanting to have great speed. If needed faster speeds get something with a usb type c port.

Maybe a tad too small for what I needed -- PS4. So I got a 5 TB and use this one for photos.

For the price that I paid it was worth every penny.

This Hard Drive is a nice slim physical size external hard drive for its capacity. I use it for work and carry it in my pocket everywhere I go.

This hard drive is an excellent back up solution. Used it to back up three laptop computers so that we have secure back up copies stored away from portable mobile devices.

This is my first western digital product, and my last. I will be returning this momentarily. Out of the box it is showing error after error, my computer will not read it and support from western digital is practically nonexistent and basically told me that the unit is dead and to return it to the store. That does not give me a very Secure feeling knowing that this is guarding important files. I have a Toshiba external drive that has run flawlessly for five years now, my poor decision to invest in western digital has now become apparent. I wish I had read all of the other reviews rather than just looking at the star rating. This is a very common issue with the western digital drives.

It's just an external hard drive. The "backup" software was not preloaded, a quick google search fixed that. It runs in the background and no maintenance is needed. Good peace of mind.

It is a good storage device, with a huge capacity.

Still not doing what I expected, more of a problem with computer than this thing

Purchased this to back up all of my family photos. Connects easily to my laptop and is easy to use. My last harddrive had a loose connection but so far this works great.

I bought this during weekly deals. you get what you pay for. Not a fan of the easy store. it did not work for iMAC but kept it for the windows laptop.

This all in one printer scanner copier fax works well for home use. Not all all in ones have fax capability these days but it is handy to have. Very good price. Nice looking.

It doesn't work with a PS4 so I never used it at all

2TB Western Digital hard drive is the only Brand I will use. Easy set up and amazing how much faster your computer runs after you get all your files downloaded to it.

Love this external drive light weight don't need electrical cord connects directly to ur computer and ready to use. And for the price I got it on Black Friday awesome.

Very Slow transfer on my MacBook Pro, Barely Connects, Reformatted twice and still the same! Cant work from it ,May be ok for transfer if ya dont mind waiting 3 hours for 25 GB to Transfer!
