Used this to upgrade my HD on my first gen PS4. I was too lazy to open it up and swap out the HD. This took about five minutes to format. No issues at all!

Again was told it works with all cloud storages and it happens to notify me upon trying to import from my accounts not all clouds are working with it right now more to come and I need the files merged now not int he future taking it back today,!

1. The manufacture should PRINT a step by step instruction for loading and down loading this hard drive from an old machine to a new machine.. 2. Geek squads MUST make sure they back up ALL the owners computers files. I will carry it back and we will give it another try.in a few days.

I purchased this drive specifically for my music library. No connection problems and no errors when using this to listen to music. Very quiet and stays cool. Recommended!

Purchased this external hd since my PS4 was low on space. This worked perfectly. Plugged it into the ps4, formatted and worked just like that.

The documentation for this is non existent, unless you have a magnifying glass. There is not a website that can guide you through the setups that I could understand. It is not easy to use. I wasted a lot of time getting it running.

Very Slow transfer on my MacBook Pro, Barely Connects, Reformatted twice and still the same! Cant work from it ,May be ok for transfer if ya dont mind waiting 3 hours for 25 GB to Transfer!

This is definitely a must buy. I do a lot of editing for pictures and to have this drive auto backup at anytime I want is perfect to set it and forget it.

We compared other drives online from other retailers, and to get a 2 year warranty on an online-priced drive is very solid. WD always does well and makes solid products.

Day by day data getting increased it better to keep safe. It has automatically take back up feature which is awesome. I like this device very much.

This product is perfect for having a reliable, portable hard drive for housing all of your files! It has tons of space I would definitely recommend it to others to use!

With the newer MAC OS you need to basically wipe the drive first and then reformat, which isn't difficult, but it isn't plug and play. I think it would be difficult for some users to setup. Good thing BestBuy has GeekSquad to help those folks - I'd recommend that if you aren't a skilled user.

I am so glad that I purchased this hard drive. I kept running out of space and decided to take a chance with this brand. I am very pleased with the results.

Use it for backups and file archives. Haven't used the included software yet because I just use it as storage and send backups to it via other options.

Great amount of storage and price but the speeds are slow. No matter what device I connect it to, the speeds are not impressive. Use for media but dont use for games even though it is USB 3.0.

Was easy to backup once I figured out how to get my MacBook to recognize the external drive. I think the driver disc was unhelpful as I don’t have a CD drive on my computer. I think the memory is enough for what I use it for which is mostly photos downloaded from my phone

This is the worst product I've ever bought from Best Buy. I am a technologically savvy person and could not get this to operate. You can't just drag and drop files to transfer-- this hard drive requires a separate software and was not compatible with my MacBook Pro. When it apparently does work, many reviews mention file corruption. This was a waste of $80. Painful.

Works great and comes with safe packaging. Chances of getting scratches on the hard-drive so purchase case as protect it with a case.

Wasn't sure what to buy but got good advise from customer service.
