I ran out of room on my PS4 and now use this hard drive as extra space. The only reason I give this 4 stars is because the first time I purchased I had a defective product.

Bad Sectors

There were bad sectors and the photos and documents stored on the drive are lost. Due to the extensive damage of the sectors, the data restoration company I reached out to was unable to salvage the data. I’ve had a bad experience with WD drives.

Uninstallable external hard drive

The online manual did not accurately describe my device and looked like it had been written in a generic way for all their external hard drives. I had to return the device.
