Bought this to download / backup work computer files. 5 years worth of files including large drawing files downloaded in just a few minutes. Accessing the files was fast without any glitches. Would buy one for personal use if I didn't already have one.

Good value for what you get. Cheaper to buy than the pre-formatted ones. I am using a mac so I had to specifically format this for mac osx. A quick google search should help you. Great storage and it works very fast.

Plenty of space. Works well . I need this hard drive for music and video for my job and it was inexpensive

By and large, seems to work just fine. Only problem is that the USB connector on the drive side is reversed (upside down) compared to the set of Seagate drives where I had to replace one bad drive, and thus the drive activity light isn't visible when attached. But speed is fine, can't say anything about reliability as I don't have this drive in use long enough (1 day a week, 10-100GB of data backed up onto it)...

Got this for the laptop bag to take data from home on the road. Just works and doesn't need any fancy connectors. Always had good luck with WD drives.

Purchased for added storage on PS4. Came with the necessary USB 3.0 cord and PS4 recognized it immediately. A++!!

Hard drive is compact, lightweight and easy to carry around. It is easy to use. Just plug in and you're done.

This is a great drive that is both portable and easy to use. The only complaint I have is that it does not want to eject properly all the time. But that could also be attributed to the operating system, not necessarily this drive. I love the small footprint it takes up. It is quick, and the included cable is great. There's nothing more irritating than getting a new piece of equipment only to find out you have to go buy a cable to use it. Overall very happy with these. They make great portable storage for college kids and millenials that must archive all their selfies and videos.

If you can find these on sale get it . They are easy to use and have a ton of space for movies or downloaded games
