    There are minimum instructions. It connected but did not give an automatic option to start back-up. YouTube is a lifesaver.

    Hard drive works as expected. The WD software is annoyingly intrusive. It needs dialed back before it would rate higher IMHO.

    Worst ever only had for 3.5 months and tried to retrieve my files and it cannot be read my any of my computers but one but it cannot open any documents. This is the worst. Will never purchase this product (easy store wd) ever and now all my pictures and files are no longer available to me memory just lost. Purchase date 10/22/20
