    Tried to format this drive from PC to MAC about three months after purchase. The format did not work and now it isn't recognized by either device.

    Purchased this to store extra content from our video business. Was told it would be ready to go out of the box, it isn't for Mac products. Had to reformat for my Mac. Wasn't to bad to format but took some time since my mac wasn't cooperating. Finally was able to after reading a couple of their help documents to troubleshoot why it wasn't working with my Mac. Finally got it but it is not worth the effort when other ones are set up out of the box for Macs.

    It works as well as any other hard drive. Only thing you MUST be aware of is to be very careful. Any contact (drop, hit it against something, etc.) it may corrupt and not work any more. Besides that, it worked well while it did. Get insurance!

    This product is difficult to use on my MacBook Air. Wish it was a little more easier to navigate.
