After just 8 months, it started giving me an error message that my MAC could no longer recognize it and it had to be reformatted. plus is a bit bulky and noisy. will not ever purchase this brand of drive again.

Sales personnel not knowledgeable enough be helpful.

First driver EVER, that I could not find a way to simply format it to work with my Mac. Has some kind of weird partition with unwanted WD software, and partition cannot be eliminate. Going back first thing tomorrow TOTAL WASTE OF TIME.

Then 11 days after the return date has passed it corrupts won't repair or even format now. Even tried using tool to try and fix it online and it won't even scan or read now.
