It's got one big mistake on it.

It means that if you record any kind of video to it. You can't watch it on TV. BECAUSE XP is the only format VCRs, Tv's can under stand. So if you just storing stuff for the cloud great as long as it's not a video to watch on TV.

DISH DVR Transfer

It stopped working half way through DISH DVR transfer. Lost a lot of recordings. Wasn't willing to spend the kind of $$ it would take for an expert to attempt to recover the lost data.

Great until it’s not

My guess is that I kept the drive plugged in to my computer too much. It started saying it was over heating and I couldn’t see any of my files. Ended up losing all that work. So the drive is good but I have to warn you to not keep it plugged in to the computer.

One in a million

I’ve never had an external hard drive fail before. It really sucks to loose that much!

Yikes

Geek squad wanted 400 just to maxybe fix it but still probably lose all the data on it, and mfg was unhelpful.
