Seems to work as expected. Haven't used it much because as I've recently had another WD drive crash with all my data on it and haven't been able to retrieve it, I'm a little uneasy about using WD drives.

Good size storage for the price. Great buy I know.

Did not connect at all with either our desktop or imac, past the return period, so I am stuck with this dud. I thought this would do that task based on price point but was completely a waste of money. Stay away.

Thanks to this peace of garbage I lost my files. It failed in less than two years of use.

The drive would work for a few days then stop doing scheduled backups. I spent many hours with their great tech support group, but unfortunately they couldn’t figure it out, so I returned it to the store.

As expected hardware; poor housing, though; dropped on table and came completely apart. I snapped back together and realized this was poorly housed and doesn't take much to come apart.

Stop working weeks later, I can open the drive, mas I cant copy anything to there, I received erro message.

Sucks big time. Worthless sucks suck kaka, sucks sucks sucks. Trash

I purchased this to back up an older laptop so I can transfer files to a new laptop. I have tried downloaded various versions of the software and none of them will install. I will be returning this.

I purchased this with the intent of expanding the memory capacity of my PS4, but it didn't quite do the job. It didn't want to format as needed for the job. It's supposed to have that simple capability. I would only recommend it for PC use.

Critical error from the start, never worked. Case open with western digital to replace. Wouldn't buy again.

My biggest complaint is: I don't know how much longer it will take. I have searched all over trying to find out if it is 50% done, 60% done... if it is even running? It should be simple.

This is the worse item I’ve ever bought. After first usage, the memory space reduced from 2TB to less than 500MB. It didn’t serve its purpose. Fake item.

The first drive was defective and had to return - spent a half a day with a geek squad tech but in the end had to return and replace with a new devise. So far no problems but will reserve judgement.

Bought it as a Christmas gift for my son to use for video game storage. Was unable to connect it to the PC or any of our laptops. Had to return.

Does the job fine for video editing - one project you complete and never touch again. For a home drive with ALL your files that you add, modify, etc. over the course of several years I recommend a G-drive or better.

I gave it only one star because I really couldn't rate it. I had to return the item because it was not compatible with my Mac.

Never would work with a Mac. Return period too short. Don't Buy Here

Stopped working one month after purchasing. I have never had similar experience with external hard drives before. Lost also all the data that was stored in it.
