I'm not sure if it worked. Wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. But I want something to store my photos in.

Don’t work for Mac book there’s another piece I’m guessing to make it work for a Mac book

Stoped working after two weeks, lost all the data I had just consolidated from work.

Stay away! This item is not plug and play. First you have to get instructions online. Then you have to download software. The Seagate is much easier.

I had my information from my laptop transferred to this external hard drive. There is no information or instructions that came with the device on how to transfer files etc. from your computer to this device.

crapped out on me 2 months in. Not recognized by my comoputer anymore, can't repair or re-format. Missed the return period by a few weeks.

What a waste of my time and my money and my money! Hard to work with and not worth thw money!!!!!

Straight trash....it literally corrupted all my files on transfer. Do not buy!!!!!! I want a refund but guess what they will not honor. Extremely dissatisfied!

This item didn't work too well for my MacBook Pro. Tried using it for my windows computer and was acting up as well.

Worthless, very difficult to use and set up. The woke computer boy geniuses are stupid stuck on China.

I purchased the 2TB easystore to move files from old laptop running Windows 7 to a new laptop running Windows 10. First easystore plugged into old laptop and seemed to work fine. Placed a single Word document on it as a test file. Unplugged from old and plugged into new laptop. Could not read test file. After much playing around asked for geek squad to "fix" drive. They reported they could not - they were getting fatal errors on drive. Replaced original easystore and plugged it into new laptop. Immediately got fatal errors when trying to read the readme file. Returning the second bad drive and will purchase a better, more reliable external drive..

I plugged this into my Dish hopper to save my special recordings and it messed up my receiver. Dish verified it was compatible before pluggi g it in, so we were disappointed.

Didnt work right- had to spend days wiping it clean and return it.

I have had nothing but trouble with Easy-Store external drive. Trying to work with Geek Squad to fix. Would not recommend this product.

I used this twice, now it can not be recognized, with all the information I have on the device. and no help from Bestbuy.

Reading and writing time is very slow. Not what I had expected from this brand

Works great to back up pictures or documents, but not very straight forward for setting up automatic backups. No manual, but you can see an online manual. Not obvious to me how to setup.

Used WD backups for many years. Wasted so much time on this one. Finally just used Carbonite. Have a friend who bought one too, she had the same problem.

It stopped working after the first 15 minutes of use. Had to send it back.

The drive was defective and I asked that I receive a new drive to replace it.The drive has not been replaced
