Peace of crap, if you drop it then everything corrupt. I’ll stick to google drive

This Product will not work with the new Mac OS Big Sur. They make you pay for downloading and using Mac software as well.

I had to replace my other WD external drive after it suddenly stopped working a couple months ago. Hopefully this one works longer.

It's fine. I'm using it for photo storage and it seems to work the way intended. It doesn't respond as fast as my older external but that's fine too.

I was unable to use this as my computer broke and had to get a new one. Not sure how it works, but it seemed nice and simple to set up.

Did not work. Had to return. Did not back anything up. Purchased another brand from another retailer that did work.

Western Digital is a good brand but unfortunately old WD devices are not compatible with new computers so you always have to buy a new one larger.

Doesn't work with Window 10. Ran a Windows compatibility check and it said "Not Compatible".

The item we bought is not functioning. The files were corrupt immediately.

Not sure if it overheats or what but when transferring large files its froze up a couple time. The device just disappears.

Could never get the WD to operate and work. Considering going to the local Beast Buy to see if they can help me.

Don’t buy this .it stops working after I transfered my game to and I had to return it

I bought this specifically to get all the documents, photo, video, and music files off an old desktop computer that runs Windows Vista. I was very disappointed that this would not work with the old desktop. I ended up buying a cheap, slow, flash drive which did work. (low tech!) But my question is, how long will a cheap, slow flash drive work before it fails? Will I eventually lose all these files in the end?

Piece of junk. Too difficult to set up and can’t tell if it works and it’s not visible what’s backed up.

After two days of having to change the configurations, I finally figured out how to get it to work my Mac They need better instructions for Mac

big capacity, but doesn't backup automatically on schedule, as it is supposed to; have to initiate manually.

Not what I expected there are definitely other options out there

On sale this was a good price. That is the main reason I bought it, combined with it being in stock for pick up. My Toshiba Laptop, also bought at BB over 10 years ago, has started making some odd noises so I wanted to make sure I had all of my files backed up. This was a great opportunity to save them and do it affordably.
