This product is great for PC backup of files and pictures. Free up space and my PC runs much faster.

For some reason, I can use it on my mac but when I try to use it on a desktop, it doesn't work.

I bought this to transfer a lot of large files from my work laptop to my Macbook. Assumed it worked like a normal hard drive, so I transferred all the files from the Windows laptop onto it first. Now I can't use it with my Macbook without reformatting the drive. For the price, I expected this to be a lot simpler to use.

I bought this one earlier but it completely died and I was unable to get my files off of it.

Takes to long to down load any thing would not recommend it any one.

Got it in a deal of the day. its a little but thicker as compared to others but dont care about it

Was on sale when I bought it, now i know why. Was heavier than my other portable drives.

Was okay, very slow download of files, on to drive, seems to be slow transferring them to other drives

Excellent small storage device, my only complaint is it had no password on it.

The drive is small and compact but its taking little time to recognize it. The biggest drawback is, WD-Easystore is doesn't support WD security software provided by WD itself. That's a big shame to WD. https://support-en.wd.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2158

Stopped working within weeks and non returnable. Ripped off.

I thought it would be easier to stream with this, but you have to set it up more than I realized

Failed a week after I purchased. Now a paper weight

After reading many reviews, I purchased this HDD to expand the storage capacity of my PS4. I had not even heard of the WD Easystore model but I decided to get one based on the sale price. I already own two (2) 1TB Western Digital Passport drives that I use to back up my PC and laptop and both have served me well for over a year. After connecting the Easystore, I moved my few games and Spotify music from the PS4’s HDD. I was kind of concerned about how the games would respond and behave on this particular WD model during play. Well, I can honestly say that this little HDD appears to be just fine. I notice that it is quiet, games show no sign of lag during play, and I don’t notice any difference in load times. Of course I can’t say much about the reliability; but I trust that it will be just fine for my purposes, just like my Passport drives.

Good price, but had issue with it connect with Apple laptop

This external hardrive stopped working after 8 months. The company replaced it. The usb connection was very Delicate. I recommend putting a protective case over it. I lost all of my stored data. This may not happen to you.

2 stars for the fact that it’s actually functional, but this is the first external I’ve had that just broke on its own, sitting in one spot for about a year. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s a HDD. Just to avoid problems I’ll avoid anything less than an SSD.
