The price was great, however I was not able to set a password for it on a MacBook so I returned it.

I bought this to use as a backup for my PC. Tried to download my files and it didn't have room for the 57.5gb's. I bought a 2TB hard drive thinking that I would have room left for later... I was working with a Microsoft tech and he did everything he could to work around it including going to WD's web site and looking for solutions. Returned it the next day.

I purchased this hard drive August 11 2018 by September 15 it was not working and a white light on it was blinking like crazy and I only used it for my new Nvidia Shield which didnt have much on it at all I was inspired to buy this because the store rep told me it was a good device never again.

Recommended by Best Buy expert as a "plug and play" external drive to supplement limited memory of a new iMac. Definitely NOT plug and play, installation was not per their directions, and I have ZERO confidence that everything was transferred to it.

This hard drive is a very good value for the capacity and speed, this one is for my mom, but I bought one myself 3 years ago and it has been really useful over the years!

I returned this item. I have a MAC and the software was too confusing.

This external drive may be small, but it is just big enough to hold up to 2 TB of files in case you need more space. Conveniently sized to fit into your pocket, or maybe just...buy a case for it.

The controllers kind of loose signal while the external hard drive is plugged into my ps4.

Worked great for about a week and a half now it won't show up on my computer

Drive is failing to be recognized after owning it for 16 days. Worked great for the first 15 days. On day 16, it turns on but can no longer be accessed. It sits there with a blink white light. I have lost a lot a valuable, time consuming work due to the drive failure. I will never purchase a WD product again.

Had this item for a year now it’s burn out .. it sure for game purpose

Just a so-so exteral hard drive .. nothing spectacular, and I actally stopped using it

I was expecting to just plug this drive in and have time machine just format it for backup and it did not work. So I looked online and others were having the same issue. So it was easiest to just return it and get another brand that would work right out of the box.

Device worked good the first time I plugged it again. Transferred pictures onto the device with ease. Viewed them once on a different device to see if I can view them and that was the only time I was able to view them. If my pictures weren’t on there I would take it back for a refund.

Found the same thing somewhere else for much less.

Was using this for PS4 and unit stopped working less than 3 month's..won't recognize at all..even tried RE formatting Apparently is a common problem..so I'm out $70 Unless they take this thing back and exchange it..

Easy to use and storage doesnt lag or heat up. Very compact i recomend.
