A useful and inexpensive portable storage solution

Disconnecting the drive has not always proven successful as the drive does not always eject, but I haven't experienced data loss from forcing ejection. The data read light is situated near the cable port, which feels like the opposite side that it should be located. The cable is also irregular and therefore hard to replace should it get lost or damaged.
