    I use this as a Time Machine backup disk for my MacBook Air and I have been generally satisfied with its performance. Disconnecting the drive has not always proven successful as the drive does not always eject, but I haven't experienced data loss from forcing ejection. The data read light is situated near the cable port, which feels like the opposite side that it should be located. The cable is also irregular and therefore hard to replace should it get lost or damaged.

    I like to be able to back up my important information, photos where they are safe. I am enjoy researching my family ancestry and this is a great place to store all the information I have collected to date.
