    At the risk of running into read/write speed issues, I use this as an external drive on a new computer running BlueIris surveillance software. This is my video disk, surprisingly. Have not run into any speed issues and works really well. Definitely recommend. Have another from same line with different capacity for Xbox Series X for older games. Works well for that, too.

    Works well as dvr support for my Sling Air2 to record OTA channels. I had used another hard drive with the original Air and it would frequently disconnect from the system and would take an hour just to reload it. A real pain. Then the Air2 came out and it seemed to improve although I’m not sure if the problems were the Air or the hard drive. Bottom line is so far it works and was worth the price

    I like to be able to back up my important information, photos where they are safe. I am enjoy researching my family ancestry and this is a great place to store all the information I have collected to date.
