Customers commend the Easystore 2TB USB 3.0 External Portable Hard Drive for its ample storage, ease of use, reliability, compact size, and reasonable price. Many appreciate its compatibility with devices like the PS4 and its simple setup process. While some users find the lack of additional software and minimal noise appealing, these aspects are mentioned far less frequently than the drive's primary benefits. Overall, the positive attributes of storage, usability, and reliability appear to be the most prominent features in customer feedback.

This is an incredibly compact (smaller than a smartphone) and handy external hard drive with an amazing 2TB capacity. It is ideal for backup storage; or just for off-device storage of less frequently accessed files or photos which can be extremely useful for devices that have limited onboard storage capacity. It provides fast access to files and is very easy to use-- just plug & play.

Compact, easy to use external hard drive with plenty of room for all of my storage need. The small size makes it so very easy to store and transport. I absolutely love it, and recommend it. I have an older hard drive (tower), and this Easystore is much more practical for safe storage.

easy to use, good price. I bought this as separate storage for my Mac. still figuring out how it works but I picked this one because I have another one using for my PC. Never had any issue with the first one

Bought it to add more memory to my son's xbox one s since the internal hard drive was almost full. Since I've had one for my xbox for years with no issues I definitely knew the easy choice for another hard drive. It is so easy to set-up. All you have to do is plug in into a usb port on the Xbox and a pop up will appear asking if you're using it for media or gaming. If you're like me using it for more memory since games like warzone or halo can easly take up 100gb it'll automatically format it for the Xbox to store games and its ready to use with your Xbox. Less than two minutes to setup, with it being on sale is a no brainer for anyone looking for extra storage.

I have found Western Digital to be highly reliable for storing photos. This is my first SSD hard drive. The size is great for carrying to a different location. The 2 TB will provide room for many photos. It is well constructed with a case made to take rough handling. Since no spinning drive, I feel it will last a lot longer than my other drives.

Works great, no problems. Love the SSD can plug and play or store. We use several for different aplkications such as one for vidro, another for pictures, another for music. It simplifies finding issues. We just label the drives and date whats loaded on them. Much better than the old drives, less mechanics to them.
GREAT FOR BACK UPS.
Takes less space than cd/dvd, but ee use both and keep several backups just in case of failures. Nice if you have a safety deposit box.

Decided to pick this up for my Xbox one X because I was running out of space on internal drive. This external drive was real easy to set up with the Xbox. Just plugged it in and let the Xbox format it for game install space and I’m good to go. I believe it only spins at 5400 rpm but it’s fine and totally usable for gaming. Especially if all you care about is having more storage and don’t need the faster speeds of an SSD. The price is right on this drive , it is nice, slim and light. Great value

It is surprising how far technology has come in just a couple of years. The last external hard drive I bought was about the size of a typical small phonebook and had to have a AC power source. Imagine my surprise when I saw this one to find it about the size of a deck of cards and a 3.0 USB as a power source! I have to say it performed flawlessly transferring our recordings from a older DISH DVR Hopper and back again to their newest version! We had over 1TB of recordings & it ran for over 24 hours just fine! (It was the 6 y/o DISH DVR receiver we had that was old tech and worn out reason it took so long to transfer) I would buy one of these again in a heartbeat! Maybe next time I need one, they will be the size of a quarter! : )

The hard drive will fit in the palm of your hand but yields a massive amount of storage. Essentially plug and play. Easy to navigate. The price was unbeatable.

Very easy to use, reliable external hard drive, enough storage space (2 TB) for my current needs because my computer hard drive has about 1 TB capacity. I use the external hard drive to back up my computer hard drive. I am glad I bought the external hard drive and I highly recommend it. There is a minor inconvenience: the external hard drive does not come with its own case.

I bought this several weeks ago, but just started using it a few days ago. I'm using it to back up some critical files. Right out of the box, only needed to plug in, and after a brief download of driver which starts automatically, I was able to begin copying files.
Process was very speedy and simple with copy/paste or drag and drop functionality. I love the compact, sleek design. After copying the files, I put it back in the original packaging for extra protection, but it sits very nicely on desk or PC tower without getting in the way if you want to use for continuous backup.
I returned a Seagate drive to another store before using it (I read the reviews after purchase instead of before). Reviews on this drive were almost universally positive and Best Buy associate vouched for its quality and durability, so as long as the drive continues to peform for at least a few years, I'll be satisfied. I do have two other WD drives, both a larger tower and an old passport that I've had for years and they continue to work very well as extra and duplicate storage and PC backups.

Great for portable backups. Not a speed demon, but it gets the job done. The price when I purchased it was very good so I bought 2.
For years the only drives I have trusted have been Western Digital. They have rarely failed me and that took someone knocking the drive off the desk and onto the floor while it was being accessed. And even that didn't completely ruin it, I was able to mark bad sectors and continue using it.
Anyways, the WD drives seem to give me fewer headaches overall.
