Decent little external drive. Can be used with modern consoles to store your games, but don't expect to play them from the drive. You can use it to store them and write them back and forth when you want to play them on the console itself. Good solution if you are strapped for cash, but as for me, I plan to get something better later. Still this drive hasn't had any issues for me, and I got mine a few years ago.

Such a great deal! It's really helped with video game storage. Though I recommend any heavy games on a main drive!

I bought this to expand storage for an Xbox One S console, and it was simplicity itself to install and use. It works great.

I use this as a Time Machine backup disk for my MacBook Air and I have been generally satisfied with its performance. Disconnecting the drive has not always proven successful as the drive does not always eject, but I haven't experienced data loss from forcing ejection. The data read light is situated near the cable port, which feels like the opposite side that it should be located. The cable is also irregular and therefore hard to replace should it get lost or damaged.

I was able to backup by Mac with this. Easy setup. Plenty of storage space leftover.

At the risk of running into read/write speed issues, I use this as an external drive on a new computer running BlueIris surveillance software. This is my video disk, surprisingly. Have not run into any speed issues and works really well. Definitely recommend. Have another from same line with different capacity for Xbox Series X for older games. Works well for that, too.
