    I brought this portable hard drive to back up all my videos and photos. 2TB is a very good size, and I love it supports USB 3.0, so it takes a shorter time to transfer files between my computer to this portable hard drive. It is not very big, and it is light to carry around.

    As I got ready for a trip to Canada, I needed a drive to store the videos I planned to take. I found this drive, checked out the reviews, and found it at Best Buy for $49! I remember buying two 300MB disc drives back in 1977 for a mini computer we had in the office, and paid almost $120,000! And we had to make sure the computer operators didn't wear nylon underwear and touch the cabinets, or they would take down our system. I'm glad those days are gone. No moving parts, no special environment, and no $120,000 price tag. No - just a fast, portable lightweight 2 terabyte drive for 49 bucks. Sold! Now that I'm home, I have it attached to my MacBook Pro and use it as my primary drive for Time Machine. I used to backup through our network to a central drive but found our network was so overloaded by all of our computers backing up, they knocked Alexa devices offline from time to time. This is easier, cheaper, and frees up the network for the stuff I really need.

    Easy to work...just plug it in and move your files over. Also got a case so that it's protected and the cord stays with it. Small enough to fit in a purse or laptop case.
