I got this when it was about $100 and 25 gift card and a another 20 dollar gift towards a website. Unfortunately, my netgear router doesn't recognize the readylink and I tried to partition the drive and it only recognised the 1st drive.

With the purchase of a new DSLR, we had to organize our photo library and backup all of our pictures. This was easy to do with this hard drive.

Purchased to backup pictures and and really didn't need a drive this big. But what the hey.... I'll take more pictures.

This was a great buy , it was on sale went I bought it, now I have a lot of space on my ps4 pro , I am a very happy customer

It's working like an external hard drive. I don't get out the durability of an item like this because seems like you shouldn't even drop it

I got this a couple months ago and still working good, I work with Audio and film and is fast enough to work smooth.

Purchased 3 while on sale, all came with 4tb red drives. Can't beat the price with a stick for the dependability you get out of these drives!

I use it to watch high resolution movies on my TV. It’s quick to load, quick to transfer from my computer. Has good organization.

Wanted a backup drive that would automatically back up as I was saving a document in another drive but it does not do that. When backing up using its program it backs up all the folders and only some, 20% of the files in the folders.

Just added another drive to my collection. I download a lot of music (guitar) instuctional videos and these drives are great for playback.

Best experience on hard drive so far. It's fast and free from disconnect problem. It's not suitable for carry around tho, bit heavy

This was a gift for my son for his X-box. Prior to having this he had to delete games because he didn’t have enough memory

Windows XP is not supported according to the box but the WD website gives you the tools to fix that. Once modified, it works great.

The case is interesting but like many others they're looking for what's inside. These are NAS level Western Digital RED or White's.

I bought two of these hard drives to back up my travel photos. The installation and backup software is very easy to use.
