      I should have bought more of these. The drive works great so far! The drive is a WD Red drive usually used for NAS servers. That's awesome! I'll buy it again if it goes back on sale.

      This hard drive's read/write speed is lightning fast! My son uses it as a game server with no lag.

      Only downside is no on/off switch. Wakes up when plugged into USB port. I don't keep the drive online when no backups are executing.

      Great price for this external drive. However, installation instructions were lacking for MAC usage. Had to bring it back to Geek Squad to get them to format it properly.

      Plenty of storage space, but the USB cord went bad very quickly, preventing me from a 5-Star review. Had to buy a new cord from Amazon and now it works perfectly.
