4 T in good price, but good for desktop as it is really big in size

Needed to download pictures from my computer to free up memory

Didn't work out of the box, exchanged and new one is fine

We are very happy with this pproduct and it suits our requirement

So far (1 day) the drive seems OK but the backup SW that comes with it doesn't recognize the drive. It only gives the option to backup to dropbox. My PC does see the drive but I have to use Norton to perform the backup. Spent over an hour trying to troubleshoot and finally gave up.

Got it in good price during deal but looks bulky and not portable.

I purchse it to compare it with my synology. Synology is better.

i went to buy extra storage for my nydia player.. and had asked one of the people working there thier opinion of the storage drive.. if it would work with my player. he said YES OVER AND OVER.. well got it home and it is sluggish, does not work at all with my player. am stuck with this over hundred dollar storage drive. not sure if i will buy fromBEST BUY again. have bought products there many many times... im tired of poor service. had bought one of the big nvidia player pros.. and had problems with it from the start.. well more problems happened then changed it out and received a used one.. nah.. no more best buy for me.. im highly disappointed with this last buy.. if i thought i could get my money back i would.. thank you terry lumpkins

It works well but the size is a little big to carry around.

Easy to encrypt and use. Works well with win7 and 10.

I ordered this seeing it was both MAC and Windoes comparable but when I plugged it in it didn't work with my older IOS . I needed to update my computer. So I updated the system and then tried it again, and it needs time machine in order to back everything up. On the box it says it's as easy as plugging it in and backing up the computer but instead it has been making things even more difficult and my stuff still is not backed up. So I returned it and I'm looking into getting a Seagate like my other older back up that I I have filled up already because that one seems more straight forward to use.

Wanted to download DVR movies need 2g cord, not 3.

About a month ago, the time came for my external backup drive to be replaced and I chose the WE EasyStore device. Since I am using it with an iMac, I had some issues in setting it up with Time Machine

I would have loved to give a review on the WD easystore 4TB hard drive, but the first one I ordered was crammed into a bubble mailer and thus damaged during transport (something broke off inside and was rattling around). I returned it and unfortunately the second one (in a box with no bubble wrap or padding) is also damaged. Pack your delicate items with more care, Best Buy. I feel as though this whole month long ordeal could have been avoided if logistics just used proper packaging.

I bought this to store music and play back is always delayed and cuts off. It was advertised to work as a music hub.

After install computer locked up. Had to take to the Geek Squad for service. Per them they believe bad unit replaced with new. Service ended costing $150. Plus the cost of the drive.

My Xbox One S saw it, prepared it, took some transfers, then it just disappeared. I tried everything to get 2 different Xbox units to see the drive but neither would.

This product worked great for a year then stopped. I keep getting an error so I just chucked it up to a loss after a year then bought another one.

Yup. I should have waited a week for the 8 TB POJ for about the same price. I suppose I will find out in the far future if it actually saved all the 3.5 terabytes I put on it. Yup. not even close to 4 terabytes. Not even 3.5 if you count their bloatware. This should be advertised not to use in any serious application that you expect use directly other than archival back up. Oh, and cross your fingers that your data will be there if you are using it for backup.

Honestly, as an elite plus member my advice to you is to spend your money elsewhere. Excellent product, just the retailer itself has no real perks to offer you. I've spent thousands of dollars at this company and got hung up on the phone with a representative while trying to order a product they failed to notify is back in stock. Be smarter than me, take your business elsewhere.
