The USB 3.0 interface is fast, and 4tb is plenty of room for all my media. Also, these units contain WD red NAS drives so I know it will be reliable in the future.

Needed a replacement desktop hard drive. This does all I needed with no problems.

So far, working great. Very easy to setup. Really wish there was a way to attach without the external power, but for my purposes its not too much of a hassle.

So easy to use. Results are great as I don't have to worry about not having enough room to save all my family info and photos.

This external USB hard drive is a great deal of storage for the money. It's pretty much plug-n-play, but if you install the WD software, it'll keep everything backed up & running smoothy for you, so I highly recommend to do that. It's extremely quiet, in fact, i don't hear it at all. The previous external USB HD I had, got power via the USB port, but this one has it's own power cord. I don't mind this at all, but I thought it'd be important to note for those interested.

I needed more storage space and with the sales at time of purchase the price was right to go from 2tb to 4tb. Setup was plug and play and works withWIN10.

Plenty of space for what i needed. I have always trusted Western Digital products. The price was great, that made the decision a no brainier.

We bought the product from Best Buy because it was readily available. It was not necessarily the “best price.” This external hard drive fits our purposes to a tee. Highly recommend! You should not require a minimum number of characters for a review.

This is a nice hard drive to have for regular backups. I would do good about backing up my photos regularly, but wasn't so great about remember to backup my other files. You can set up a schedule (every day at a specific time or only certain days, etc.) and then it does it. The first backup it tried failed, but I was able to figure out why using WD's website and it had step by step instructions on how to resolve the problem. It's also a roomy 4 GB and I use it as a media server for my Amazon Fire Stick so I can stream to my TV. All in all, seems to be a good purchase.

This drive is rock solid. You get a lot of storage of a great price. These are western digital reds and are very reliable in my experience.

Perfect storage for large volume of photographs to preserve for future use.

I purchased this to backup my failing computer and more than happy with the result. The transfer went smoothly and I now have data backup off my local computer. I also am able to know transfer files between home and work computers which is great.

I purchased this drive for my daughter to backup her three laptops. Ease of use is great, also is fast using USB 3.0. Would definitely buy again.

I bought this for my MacBook in order to use it for Time Machine backups. The drive works as expected with no issues. I would buy it again.

Storage is getting cheaper and cheaper, and WD makes great hard drives. This is a very affordable 4 TB drive that works perfectly.

Purchased this for extra storage for media and we are very pleased. I would highly recommend and I am considering buying another when on sale again.
