I've had several Western Digital hard drives, and all of them are still going strong. My only problem is I keep filling them up, but with 4TB of space, it will be a while before I need another one.

I'm not computer savvy. Used a slide rule in high school. This hard drive was plug and play. Very easy to use without the usual computer upgrade headaches I've had it for a month so far without a hitch.

Fairly fast. Not a gaming SSD, so its what you'd expect. Plenty of room. So far, seamless. Also, about bulky and outdated, judging by size. Still, you get what you pay for, and I'd sacrifice a little room for a little dough. If you plan on having this HD stationed, more the reason to go for it.

It's been a good storage hard drive for my backup of pictures and videos. I use it for a backup of my videos and pictures just in case of a computer problem. Good pice and storage space.

I needed it for backups and it comes with WD backup software which you can setup and schedule. Works great. I like that this drive is formated NTFS which boots fine when plugged into pc in windows. I bought another WD Backup from best buy few months ago (MY Book) it also works great but because it's formatted exfat my pc will not boot if it is connected, but I can connect it fine after booting. EXFAT is a format used to make the drive compatible with both pc and mac, if you have a mac get the my book. You can also re-format the drive to either format. (NTFS or EXFAT) In my case I had already copied a bunch of files to the mybook drive and did not want to reformat. If you have a pc get this drive, easystore.

The WD - easystore® 4TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive is an easy 5 star product. I have a 2TB version of the same specs, and it too is a real winner. The 4TB drive is fast and quiet. I do not know which WD 4TB drive is inside, but I trust WD to provide me with great mass storage/back-up devices. The 4TB unit does not disappoint. The drive is quiet and fast. I have stuff archived since the 1990s. It is all stored in three formats. I have it archived an DVDs, on external HDDs, and some in the cloud. The WD external drives make the best value in a TB/cost analysis. This is a great big drive. I can unhesitatingly recommend it for archiving, and other purposes. No qualifiers. This is a solid product.

I bought this to extend the storage of my xbox one x. So far it as been what I expected. It loads faster than the internal and I am very happy with the amount of storage that I gained...

I bought 2 of these drives when they were on sale. When on sale you can purchase these drives for less than a stand along 4 TB hard drive. Easy, fast USB 3.0, external storage for a decent price.

Bought this drive as expansion for my sons XBox One. Quick and easy setup as the xbox recognized the expansion and walked us thought the set and formatting. Been running a month now with no issues.

Cheap and easy to use. The speeds are faster than the regular portable WD drives. The catch is they have to be powered. Ideal for a master stationary drive.

I purchased this to store my photos. It connected easily and there was really nothing to set up other than to set up folders for the photos. It runs quickly and I have had no issues so far.

I have had several WD external drives in the past years. usually portable drives. This 4TB is a desktop and has been great sale price and working fine with my 4K iMac 27 " desktop computer. Would racomend WD 4TB Easystore External drive to other in need of extra capacity for Photos or Video. Rocky

This unit is plug and play easy and gives you TONS of storage. It's a bit larger than I expected, but then, it IS 4TB. Overall, I'd say it's a great value.

Western Digital makes the best drive by far. I literally have a dozen of them hooked to my desktop machine. I do 3D animation and video editing, and there is nothing more reliable than a WD hard drive.

Using this as an external drive for the PlayStation 4. Cleared out so much room from internal drive. Works great all games and downloads now reside here

Works as any other memory, I don’t like that the orientation is in the stand position, way easier to knock down

I purchased this for the drive inside. These used to have WD Red drives, so I was disappointed to find a WD Blue drive in it. However, after using it 24/7 in a TiVo for nearly a month, it still works flawlessly.

I needed more space for an ever expanding collection of downloaded movies and TV episodes that I view on PLEX. I had another drive just like it. Easy to hook up and a snap to use.

This is such a great deal! This hard drive goes for about the same price as other 1 TB hard drives. I don't think I will ever run out of memory now lol

I work in a surveillance dept. There we need to save some of the important footage, either for references or courts. The 4T is a mayor plus as it takes years of information. I strongly recommend it.
