Used this as an extra hard drive for my PS4... works great. Easy to set up. Games may seem a little sluggish to load, but most gamers wouldn't even notice.

I purchased this drive around the holidays when it was only $85 and it was a fantastic deal. Equivalent drives are about double the prices.

I can copy and paste files into it or have it connected to my computer to receive files regularly. It has worked well with both Windows 7 and 10.

I have about 2 TB worth of photos to backup and this HD did a great job of that. I also backed up my C drive, and I have room to spare for later.

Bought this to replace the dozen smaller external drives. It works in Win10, but not in XP without partitioning. I have not used the backup software yet.

This was the perfect expansion to our WD my cloud home nas. Integrated seamlessly with the system. And now I can access my files from any device.

I bought this to use with the PS4 slim and works great. Reformatting took less than a minute through the PS4. Will be getting another one for my second PS4

Its easy, its fairly fast, and for under $100 on a Daily deal you can't beat it.... I like this one enough that I'm waiting on a deal on the 8 TB version.

Easy to install and set up! Initial backup takes some time, but after that it completes the backup at a predesigned time and date. Easy, easy, easy.

I'm using this external HD as my TimeMachine back-up. I appreciate the indicator light that show's it's powered up and whether it's actively interfacing with the computer or sitting idly. It has functioned flawlessly since I bought it a few months ago. I had it replace one that had failed. Based on advice from in-store advisor, I'll probably proactively replace this one in about 3 years, so I don't have to start my back-ups from scratch and lose my history as I did for this one. Then this one could be used for a less "critical" back-up function.

I purchased the drive as a redundant drive to my current 1.5TB WD. It is slower than the 1.5TB, but adequate for what use it for. Both are connected with USB 2.0 to my HP i5 laptop. For $99 it is an excellent drive and meets all my requirements.

I like Western Digital products because they are reliable. I use this for backing up my computer. It will take you a while to fill up 4TB of memory.

I bought 2 of these to store and transfer files between computers. They are perfect for storage, but the fact that they require both the power cable and the USB 3 cable make it a bit of a hassle ... especially if you have a limited amount of outlets.
