Got this on sale, and love the ease of use. Cheap and easy way to store and backup all my digital photos.

I have used every manafactuer external hard drive made since they came out several years ago. Networked, dedicated, portable. Western Digital seems to have the best Drives made. I cant recall any WD hard drive failing before it's time and most last well into old age and beyond. As of this writing I have 2 dedicated 3 portable and a networked backup that are all Western Digital. The network drive with redundancy is several years old.

For the most part works with my Mac to keeps my photos library on here. Fast with USB 3.0.

Got this for $89 on sale. Was easy to shuck and throw in my tower for a large amount of storage for my pictures, videos, and music.

This backup provides great peace of mind for a heavy user of Ancestry and other 'don't want to lose' programs.

In my opinion, everyone should invest in an external HD. Having a backup for family photos, videos, documents, and even video games makes life easier. I had to re-install Windows on my desktop so I picked this up to keep all the stuff I didn't want to re-download and re-install (games, pictures, videos, documents, etc). Instantly read by my desktop every time it's plugged in and easy to disconnect by right clicking and ejecting it from my computer before pulling the physical cable. 4 months and still working as intended.

I primarily bought it to back up my desktop computer. Since the capacity is 4T, I still have a lot of memory to store my photos and videos.

I brought this on sale. I was looking for 3tb for around $100 and found this 4tb for $99.99. I use it with my ps4 and have had no problems.

We needed to upgrade our storage capacity to protect our data. With a better CPU we purchased more memory and this drive fit the bill.

Worked right out of the box when plugged in. USB3 speeds are vastly superior to USB2 transfer speeds. This is one huge storage device.

This gets 4 stars only because this is not the pocket model. It will do what I need. Nowhere in the description did they mention this was the desktop model. It was a great daily deal.

Purchased a new, larger HDD for home office use. Easy set-up, runs in the background so I don't need to think about my back up needs.

I actually bought this product before about 6 months ago for my Xbox One. I loved it so much I bought another one for my PS4.

This external HD works on both Mac and PC once you format it Exfat. Never fails and using the same brand for past few years

Works quietly in the background. Holds lots and lots of photos and videos. backs up files quickly and effortlessly.

I plugged it in, formatted it for my Mac and moved 2.5 TB right over to it in a snap. It's running quiet and perfect. No complaints here.

This was a very good buy, now that the 8tb drives are available. Ready to go right out of the box. Simple and easy to open and go.

It works well and was easy to use. I needed more space for my mini Mac so I tried this unit. Plugged it in and it worked right away.

I am pleased to report that this is a 1TB HD. I found it to be as advertised, but I'm not overly complex about these kinds of things.

NEED A LARGE HARD DRIVE TO STORE LOTS OF MUSIC AND WESTERN DIGITAL HAS ALWAYS DONE A GOOD JOB FOR ME
