I still believe you can never have too much storage. This was a nice boost to extra backup room for my photography work.

My desktop computer was running out of space and this outboard hard drive was the perfect answer for storing many pictures.

I have been using this for many months. It works every time. Its quite and very easy to use with included software.

I guess it's my fault, but this device doesn't do the automatic backup when documents change. It only backs up full directories. I think you can buy additional software to do the incremental backups by versions. I don't remember having to pay extra for that the last drive I got. So it did the job of making a copy, but now it's out of date. I had asked the BB sales associate and he said it would do it. There isn't anything special about this drive. I wouldn't specifically recommend it. It's just an external hard drive. Those are a dime a dozen. I kept it because it was cheaper (on sale) than the other options.

I always buy Western Digital because the drives are top notch and I have never had a bad one. This lives up to the name as well

I bought this storage device to back up ,my pictures and other documents. Is very easy to use, fast and is no expensive.

Nice amount of TB so we will be able to save sooo many more important and memorable things!

The wife's computer kept nagging her to make backups, she said she wanted a drive to do this. Plenty of room for backups now.

Purchased the 4TB external HD for a great price. Large capacity with a USB 3.0 interface makes for a great storage drive.

The drive is working great. Quiet operation. The software tyhat comes with this drive is lacking. I use Macriun Reflect for backups and it works way easier than the software provided. I actually prefer Acronis.
