Great capacity and speed for the price

They total more than a terrabyte so far. Bought this drive because of the very positive user reviews here, and a great price when on sale. File transfer is very fast. Since the video work is done on a Mac and my main computer a PC, I formatted the HD with Fat32 before starting.

Great for use with homemade NAS

And I must say that the performance of this system is faster then every store bought NAS solution is have tried in the past. The drive performance has been great and I would recommend to anyone. I did not crack open the case to check for myself but according to many sources this case does contain a WD Red (NAS) hard disk.
