Bought two of these for my 2012 Macbook Pro to move my Photos Library onto one and use the second for my Time Machine backups. Work well and were easy to set up.

I have like 4 of these and rheybhave always been good. Never had a shut down. It runs fast and stores all my data. Running it through my server is a bonus

Compact and can fit in your pocket, no need for an AC adapter, 4 whopping tbs of space, great automated backup software, not much more you can ask for. And an amazing price of $79 on sale. I'm a very happy customer.

Great external storage. Very easy to use and plenty of storage space. I have two of these...one that I use for my MacBook and the other for my Xbox One games.

Love this portable hard drive. Small and lightweight, making it so easy to have with me, carrying vital docs and media I don't want bogging down my computer's hard drive.

I have been using these since Xbox 360 days as external drives for my consoles, and have never had a problem. They are small, inconspicuous, reliable, and the price is right. These are also good because they are high capacity and don’t require a wall wart for power. Mine are attached to an Xbox 360, an Xbox One X and to a Win10 PC. I will probably buy this again, or a larger capacity once they are available.

I bought this HDD to add space to my PlayStation 4 Pro. It was easy to setup and works great. I had already upgraded the internal drive to 2TB and this added an additional 4TB externally. Now I have lots of room!

I love how convenient and fast these things are! I can use them to store photos, for the xbox, and best of yet portable. The price point on them was amazing.

I'm using it as a backup drive, so the proof will really come over time. for now, I can say it was pretty inexpensive, easy to set up, and it's dead quiet. It also doesn't take much room. It looks pretty damned generic with no real distinguishing marks, so I put a sticker on the top to identify it from all the other backups I have.

At least as of right now, there's not a bigger phantom powered external HDD. Once you get to 5 TB, it seems like they're all ac powered. I got mine for $90 too, so about $25 per TB (with tax) is pretty good.

I just purchased a Mac Mini and needed additional storage for my 15,000 songs. It was a simple reformat and there is no lag when playing my music.

This 4 tb hard drive works well for all my backups. You cannot have to many hard drives. Being portable and on sale does not hurt either. My wife takes a lot of photos and it holds thousands of photos.

I use it everyday, i use it for my ps4 extra storage and so far it has been good no issues with it ! I also used it for my laptop to store everything

I purchased this external hard drive as an addition to my Xbox One X to use for game downloads as the new 4K gaming content takes up a TON of space. Nice addition to my console, easy to format and use.

Love this to keep a back up of my computer. In this day and age you can’t have too much storage. This is perfectly compact and easy to hook up.

Easy setup. Plug it in and it works. The price is great too. Didn't use their software to set up the drive. Seemed like an unnecessary step.

Bought it at Thanksgiving Sale, $79. 4TB and it’s Western Digital. Can’t complain, super savings and the product is beyond expectation. Always love WD brand. I need to buy one when it’s on sale again.
