This WD holds 4TB of data in a case the size of a deck of cards. This makes it easy to take on the run or keep on your work area. I can store 1000 of pictures, and as a photographer that is Hugh.

Bought this to put video games on. Easy to plug and the system reads it great. Adding games from console storage to the hard drive is a breeze.

I purchased this item awhile ago. I use it on a Apple iMac. It works fine and takes up little space. It works as specified. I would recommend it.

I purchased this hard drive for my PS4 and its been performing flawlessly. i moved all my content from the game to free up the system and its been soo good. every gamer needs this hard drive.

I own a 1TB drive and it goes everywhere. I wanted more storage (4TB) for my digital photo, music and movie library and the sale price was the same as the cost I paid for my 1TB. Easy to use

This little hard drive packs quite the punch. Simple to use. I always hate the WD software that comes attached without really serving a purpose, as far as I can tell. But that's pretty standard marketing these days and for the price I'm happy to do a few extra clicks to clean that up. This thing got me OFF the cloud and into a more budget friendly way to keep my data safe, and all in the same place. Between 3 difference cloud services I was paying $20/month for the same amount of storage which means this will pay for itself in 5 months.

Would gladly recommend them to anyone. I have 2 of these drives, and 5 of WD's earlier drives. one for backups, and 6 for video backup. Well, this product is the backup; that's precisely what a 4TB external hard-drive is for.This new one powered by USB only and the smaller 2.5" size is great. No need for external power source and it is ready out of the box to use, simple plug and play. It works well, and I hope it is as reliable as its older model. I am so far very satisfied with this purchase, it does what it is advertised to do and it does it well, which is to store backups and other data. USB 3.0 adds to its speed. This is a very solid drive for the money.

I needed a larger hard drive. I did look at other ones however I believe this is the best one. It was plug and play. No issues and it works great.

I love it. It was a great deal for 4TB. I use it for PS4 and it took about an hour and fifteen minutes to load 11 games on it but playing those games has NO lag in case you were wondering!

I use this as external backup. It is super easy to use. The size is convenient and the storage space is ample. All that said, you don't buy these at full price. Right now the 5 TB version is much cheaper than this 4 TB version. The sales are frequent and they just rotate from version to version, so keep that in mind as you consider how much storage you need and what your budget is.

Love the fact that it is compact and gets the job done right. I can take it anywhere, and it works for files on pc or mac.

The hard drive is easy to setup and compact. You can format it NTFS, exFAT, whatever you prefer. Works with Windows 10 and 7. I got it on sale for $80 which is $20 a terabyte. WOOT.

This drive has been working flawlessly as my Time Machine backup since I purchased it about a year ago.
