4TB hard drive for an unbeatable price. Was looking a seagate external hard. The 2TB was more expensive than the 4TB. Definitely changed lanes and happy that I did.

First, the cost. I always watch for bargains on useful tech. I got this on sale as a Deal of the Day. Within three weeks it was again a Deal of the Day at a lower price, and Best Buy matched that price, making it an even better deal. However, this is a good deal, even if it is not on sale, if you need a lot of storage, in a compact portable enclosure, with good transfer speed, that is not hampered with an external power supply. We intend to use this for backups of our computers and for media storage. Movies, music, photos and mobile apps quickly filled the computer hard drives that we thought were going to meet all our needs. If the majority of your media is shared among family members, as ours is, one backup is called for, but a copy on every computer is a waste of drive space. USB 3 speed is almost a necessity now. We still have USB 2 drives and I still see them being sold, but transfer times are slow even for overnight backups. This is also great for Xbox One users. We got a 2 Tb USB 3 drive to expand our Xbox One storage, and it is about 50% full, twice the size of the 500 Gb standard Xbox One drive. A 4 Tb drive should hold all of your games, add-ons and game saves without any worries about ever running out of storage. With USB 3, we have had no degradation in gameplay. But, be mindful of the fact that once you format an external drive for Xbox One, it can only be used for Xbox One and can never be reformated for use with a pc. If plugged in to your pc, it will not even be recognized as a drive. If this drive was available when we expanded our Xbox One storage, we would have gotten two of these, one for backups and media storage and one for our Xbox One.

Had an older computer and did not wanted to transfer all my files to a new computer. This is a great option and it doesn’t take up space. Very reasonable price.

Great External Hard Drive. Enough capacity to store all your data and small enough to put into your pocket.

It stores a ton of stuff you will probably never need, yet it does it at an affordable price and with nice looking curves, portability and hopefully long life.

I am glad I purchased this item since it holds 4000 gigabytes which is necessary for my Xbox One video game console. It is very reliable plus easy to carry. Additionally, since it is portable, it does not require power outlet, causing it to be more simple. In order to use it, simply plug this device into a USB port where it will instantly load the content saved in the hard drive.

Bought this for more storage for my xbox one x. Easy to use, just plug and play. Highly recommended since the games in 4K take over 100Gb of storage per game.

I needed more space for backups and this was perfect. I have a MAC and always do a timeline backup. I love that this is portable. I would definitely recommend.

I bought this for my PS4 as an external add on memory and it's great. With no need for a power supply, I plugged into my PS4 and leave it there. Now I have the 4tb extra added to my gaming so can actually save more than a handful of games. it's also small so sits out of the way with no problem. The loading time depends on the game but the gameplay hasn't been affected so I'm very happy.

A hdd that write it's own checks, in all categories, easy installation, speed, performance, and reliability. You can't ask more for a hdd that's external and 4tbs cheap. Normally cost another 40-60 bucks. Still have it working great.

Great value for the price. Easy to use with Windows and Mac. Some workarounds may be needed with Mac but it works!

How can you beat the compactness of external drive that packs 4TB of memory and it is USB 3.0. You can back up your entire personal files (photos, music, tax files, etc..) and most likely will have more than 3 TB left on the drive. What else can we save on it? Nice to know we got an ample storage space that is going with you wherever and whenever you are going somewhere.

I purchased this external because my previous one crashed suddenly and I lost everything on it. I decided on this one based on other reviews and it hasn’t disappointed. Quick setup, is compact, runs quietly and seems very efficient. No issues so far. The storage is huge obviously, not sure I needed 4TB but the cost was very reasonable.
