I originally bought this to transfer my games from my Xbox One S to my Xbox One X. Formatting the drive for the Xbox was extremely simple and required the push of a button. I transferred over a teribite worth of games to the external with no issues. I read in a review that after 6 months the drive stopped working. This drive is is always on and plugged in. If the drive fails then I will update this review. If you don’t hear from me again then you will know that it’s a solid drive.

I had originally ordered the seagate 2tb harddrive. I had received my e-mail that my order was ready for pickup. An employee looked everywhere for thirty minutes and could not find my order. So they offered me an item similar/slight upgrade. I was a little iffy as I hadn't seen many reviews of this for storing ps4 games... but it has been handling everything great after formatting.

This product is absolutely excellent. So easy to hook up and use. Safely transferred all my photos, videos, and important documents from my laptop to this external hard drive. Also, the sales representative was extremely kind and helpful when referring this product to me for purchase.

I purchased this hard-drive to download backups from one location and keep them with me as I travel to another location. It works great. Plenty of storage and a great and small device that fits well for when I travel. I would recommend this drive for anyone who needs a lot of storage and the need for a smaller form drive.

Easy to use, good portable size, and quite. Backing up files went fairly quick.

I will always have one of these and an extra one to spare. I love that you can upload all of your data to a device that is external from the computer that way you can save your stuff in case you have a major failure in your MAC or PC. This holds so much data but once this one fills up I snagged a Samsung one to try out to compare which one is best.

Plenty of space to meet my needs for back up. Excellent price and design.

I absolutely live these drives. I must have about 5 or 6 because they are so versatile. I have 1 attached to my router as a NAS type setup. I have 2 for my Xbox, 1 for captures and 1 for games. I use like 2 for captures on my pc and the rest for backups. WD is my go-to because of the reliability. The one attached to my router has lasted me over 8 years and is still going strong. Speed has been quite good and gaming off one on Xbox is sometimes faster than the internal drive and does well on pc for games although obviously an SSD would be faster, they still aren't near the value these drives have. It's crazy how affordable they are and if they are on sale, I always tend to pick up one or two because you can never have enough storage. Highly recommend

Got this for my personal use to backup my files and carry them with my laptop. Easy to use and has a lot of memory.

I was looking into an external hard drive for my PlayStation 4. I ran out of space and had several games coming. This was super easy to use, I installed it on my computer, registered it and installed my desired device. From there I simply plugged it into my play station where I leave it and I have 4 TB of space. Through the play station settings I have everything being saved on my external device; easy, quick and I don't have to worry about running out of space anytime soon.

Works great. Light weight, inexpensive, and very fast data retrieval. I also have a 3 TB model and like it as well.

I use this hard drive to backup my system it is small and has a large storage to back up everything i have two partitions so i can backup bother of my desktop computers and do a full restore should any thing go wrong

Great portable drive, small form factor but holds and enormous amounts of storage space for videos, pictures, movies, documents etc.... Bought a second drive for full computer back purposes. Great drive for an inexpensive price.
