Had Issue With Drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The drive works but the initial drive I bought had an issue with the Windows 10 computer not being able to restart when the drive was connected. Talking to tech support at WD they suggested I return the drive and replace it as they could not figure out what was causing the problem. I did that and the second drive had the same problem. I have one other WD external drive connected to the same computer. While that is a 3 Tb drive rather than this 4 Tb, there are no other differences and there is not a similar problem with that drive. I talked to WD again and they indicated it must be something with my computer. Internet search indicated others are having a similar problem. Not wanting to subject Best Buy to a second return, I decided to live with the problem, but am unhappy that I have to disconnect the drive before restarting. the computer.. I have been happy with the 3 Tb and another NAS 4 Tb WD drive, and my 2 Tb internal WD drive, but this issue would give me second thoughts about buying another WD drive.
