I set this up as a back-up device for my desktop about 3 weeks ago. It replaced a "WD Mybook Live Duo" that died after about 4 years. The new drive was simple to set up and has worked flawlessly.

Have been so happy with the first that I purchased a second. I've found the Western Digital (WD) drives to be more reliable than Seagate, both for internal snd external drives.

Purchased 4 T drive for under $100. Remember when 1 T cost more than $1,000. Appears to work well and is 2.0 and 3.0 USB compatible. Works more like a backup than an additional drive.

Western Digital hard drives are the best SATA drives on the market.

This works well for my external backup. Replacing my old my book.

Connected it to my laptop USB 3.0 computer found it. I have been using it as an extra drive. It's very fast. It just work well.

Bought this for my son as a replacement for an Xbox brand external hard drive failure. Stores all his games works great he loves it. Win/win for me

I got this on sale for a good price - BB even matched Amazon’s lower price. No problem setting it up or doing the first backup. However last night even though I can browse the drive the WD Backup app can’t recognize it. This may require contact with WD Support. I’m sure there’s a fix out there!

I bought this My Book 4TB HD because I needed more storage. My other HD is also a WD, but its a compact unit. The larger drive is faster at accessing my info, and it has 4 TB instead of 2TB to boot. A great value!

WD has improved there products, usually buy Seagate, but Best Buy retail stores do not carry them anymore. This drive works great, no connection issue, was easy to partition using Windows disk management. I’m pleased with it.

I'm impressed with the My Book. Does really well holding all my games and apps from my Xbox one s. No problems at all. Best Buy even price matched the item because amazon had it online cheaper. I'm glad I have all this extra space now.

I have a couple of these now, never had a problem. I use it to keep files off my hard drive in case there is any problem with the laptop. I never leave any important data in-saved now. Mostly use it to keep family photography safe.

I throughly enjoy this harddrive for my xbox it runs and turns off with my xbox extending the lifespan of it. Huge amount of storage for those massive games like Red Dead Redemption, GTA5, and World of Tanks.

I bought this drive so I could perform local PC backup. Performance was good, and I am using usb 2. Once I put a usb 3 card in my pc it will be even faster. Very happy with the purchase

This is my 2nd one, its all that is advertised. I think it is the best buy. I save and backup all of my photos, music & videos. Works just like a flash drive but better & more capacity. Was very easy to start using right out of the box.

I purchased this drive to connect to my television to use as a media drive. I copied about 1 TB to it so far. Transfer speeds were good. It was plug and play with the TV. No problems so far. Very happy with the purchase.

Was looking for an external hard drive for my xbox one. This was the most recommended hard drive out there. I see why now. Great product and it has plenty of space. Would recommend this for anyone whether its for an xbox or computer.
