This is great for storage purposes. I am using this as a back-up drive to store my work files and there is plenty of room for CAD files, pdfs of plans, and lots of other files.

I bought this because my new laptop has an SSD drive and not as much capacity as I wanted, so I will use it to house data - music, photos, videos, etc.

It does not take up space- I will no longer forget to back up my PCs. Peace of mind.

I got this hard drive as a gift for my son. He uses it not only for school, but also to store all of his movies, games, etc. He loves this. I actually may have to buy one for myself.

I am so glad I purchased this 4T My Book Hard Drive. I am able to back up all of my computers and other products so that I can free up the speed on each product.

The drive was simple to set up and use. Needed it to save a large number of scanned pictures and its working out great.

I bought this well over a year ago as a NAS backup drive, and it’s performed without fail. I didn’t use any of the included software, so I can’t vouch for that.

Does a great job extending your storage capacity. While not small in size, easy to fit behind furniture to not be noticeable.

Western Digital's 4 TB MyBook hard drive is a bargain. It couldn't be more plug-and-play. I'm looking forward to a long time backing up my important files to it.

Works exactly as advertised. A 4TB drive you can partition to your heart's content. No issues setting it up. It runs nearly silently, a nice change from the drive it replaces.

Use it to store photos and video, works great! Good speed and compatibility with a MacBook Pro.

This is very useful and exactly what I wanted. The price was right too. I have had good luck in the past with WD products.
