I needed xtra storage for my Xbox one this works great! It was so easy to set up and offered double the storage of the Xbox add-ons for the same price

still using it to this day going to keep using it until it breaks I have been using it for extra game storage.

Bought an easystore external hard drive, and it crapped out within a week. The my book drive is much more reliable. I wanted the 6 TB, but they were not in stock, and hadn't been in stock for a while.

I was looking to expand my storage on my ps4. This was plug and play.

Plenty of space for videos, even survived a fall off my desk! Don't expect that though, I feel I just got lucky.

It was easy to set up to pc. The only reason for 4 stars is because I wanted to hook it to my router and have 2 PC's backed up but I couldn't get it to work.

Using this HD as the Time Machine backup HD for an iMac. Reformatted the hard drive to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with no issues. I backed up the computer as opposed to copying the previous external Time Machine HD. It took about eight hours, but that was expected. During the back up, was able to use the computer with no problems. As with an 8 TB model, noticeable sound when the drive is spinning, in this case when Time Machine is making a back up copy. Drive sits on a wood desk and the sound would reverberate, put an old rubber mouse pad under it for cushion and the vibration is greatly reduced.

Good for the price and easy to set up. haven't had any issues so far

You can not go wrong with this unit. I use it on my Linux system and never a problem at all. Great value and quiet.

Bought this drive because of the great price for the large storage space. So far, no complaints. Plugged it in, formatted and is working great!

We use this as our personal home backup drive where we archive. Silent, fast, dependable like a Ninja. Not bad for $78 bucks on sale.

Easy to use External Drive with tons of space for backups. Must be plugged into electrical outlet so not as portable as smaller external drives that are powered via USB.

This is the seventh Western Digital My Book that I have bought. It is great for storing all of my digital items, movies, music, and pictures.

I take alot of pictures and they suck up so much of your computer's hard drive storing them. This is an easy way to back them up.

Looked for a 3T HD online from other sources but had to check out the store first. Got there an saw the 4T on sale for the same price as the 3T.

WD has always been good drives for me. With 4 GB capacity, I can now move data from older less than 1 GB hard drive to this one for more efficient storage.

This hard drive is amazing. I use this for my Xbox One. Loads all of my games really quickly. This WD drive is the best thing I have ever got my hands on.
