    The unit runs well, just as advertised. I'm currently using it as my Time Machine to backup my iMac Pro. Though you can tell when it is working it is NEARLY inaudible! I've had a couple smaller versions of My Book and have never been disappointed! Try it... You'll like it!

    this MyBook back-up drive —- and a smaller capacity MyBook I had purchased earlier —- work best with the Windows 10 “File History” method. (I have not been able to make the WD back-up software function.) One really annoying issue is that whenever I reboot my computer, I need to unplug the MyBook temporarily from the USB port or the computer will hang-up and not boot up. WD support staff could not help me. Otherwise, dependable back-up unit.
