    Hooked up WD hard drive as a backup to my desktop.. The WD software could not recognize my internal drive. Called WD support and they led me through various methods to fix the problem without success. Said it might be a program in the computer stopping the recognition. Used windows' backup and restore function successfully back up my hard drive.
