    So far so good. However the drive is pretty loud. I had a Seagate 4TB external drive for a while and I barely noticed any noise. If you have a quiet computer in a quiet room, you will definitely hear it when the drive starts working. I am not too bothered by it however. I've already gotten used to it. Also since I can't see the drive normally behind my monitor setup, it's kind of nice to hear the drive working.
