I purchased this external hard drive just before the lockdown last year and it has served me well ever since. Perfect timing.

Bought this drive to backup a Windows PC. Ran WD sector test and test failed. Called WD and they said there was probably a bad sector on disk. So I exchanged for another one at Best Buy. Next one passed test and works fine.

The computers in my home are not networked so this hard drive with enormous storage allows me to store all my photos and mp3s on a single drive then access them on any computer I choose.

Bought this to use as an external hard drive tor store pictures while editing in PS and LR. Read/write speeds are good and have no issues with transferring files.

It does automatically backup my files most days. However, lately it has been missing some days. On those days, I have to start the backup manually.

The WD My Book 4TB external USB 3.0 hard drive is great purchase. Plug and play setup. Transfer speed is really good. I was able to replace 2 drives with this one unit.

It works most of the time. Then it says there is no room for backing up the computer's hard drive. However the WD My Book has more than 10 times the space it needs for a backup.

Bought two for my kids to store all their music photos so they don’t use up computer space. Plan on purchasing an extra one for myself.

WD makes the best in my opinion. I use this for permanent backups, only plugging it in when needed.

I like the amount of storage but i have to disconnect it from my Win10 pc often. PC wont boot up sometimes if I leave it connected all the time.

This product definitely within the specs required for business purposes. Like the diversity of the Cloud as well as regular backup storage.

This drive runs cool. I believe it's a WD Blue Mainstream drive inside, but I haven't opened the case to confirm.

Am happy with this .. it was preformatted exfat but thats ok works like a charm... the one thing that i really like about it is that it ejects quickly.

Good product that does what it should. Not super fast and if you use it with an Xbox one, like I did, the light for hdd activity will not work due to formatting and losing the drivers needed to do so. Otherwise, it does it job well.
