    Works well and USB3 makes it fast. I use it to back up my servers. Does require external power. (Included wall transformer)

    I've used both Seagate and Western Digital external hard drives. The Seagates have died without warning after 2-3 years. I've never had a WD drive fail.

    Easy to setup. Much easier than older versions of the WE MyBooks. Easy to run, as well. Highly recommended.
