I bought this hard drive for supplemental storage for a streaming TV device, and it works like a charm It was plug and play. I was up and running in only five minutes or less.

No issues at all with the hdd, setup was user friendly and it has fairly quick writing speed.

Always pressed for storage space on my computer, the 4TB drive has helped a ton and allowed me to better organize my photos, videos and music.

Bought to expand Xbox One storage, and games actually load faster on external rather than internal drive

This has met all of my expectations I use it as a Plex media drive., It does require its own power source I.E. power adapter included. Plug and play already formatted. Highly Recommend.

Works as expected. Have purchased several "My Book" external hard drives in the past for backup.

It does not take up space- I will no longer forget to back up my PCs. Peace of mind.

i Have used WD my book hard drives for over 10 years still working and can always depend on them..i have had Seagate Hard drives go bad.

This is the best bang for your buck when it comes to an external hard drive for consoles; it has its own power adapter, and it's 4TB. HIGHLY recommend for any gamer with a large library.

These get pretty hot (52C easily), make sure to get a USB fan and have it blow over the top of the drives. This will keep it at around 34 - 42C which is perfect temp range. Otherwise great drives.

I purchased this to back up my GoPro footage during trips and it has been extremely reliable. Not much more to say than it works and I get the speeds I would expect.

Easy to set up you just have to plug up and format on your ps4 that's it . Pretty quick . I used it on my playstation for extra storage.

So far its working great. I been transferring all my files and videos and photos to this drive. And I plug it and it worked right away.

Works well no issues The drive format was not my preference and better instructions could have come with it to get the most out of the unit but out of the box it just works with no issues.

I had it when it was on sale ($99 for a 4TB storage). Super love it. I keep it connected to my PC as an external hard drive for all my video and photography work last year (short term solution for fellow photographers/videographers).

This is great for storage purposes. I am using this as a back-up drive to store my work files and there is plenty of room for CAD files, pdfs of plans, and lots of other files.

Now that the PS4 can store games on an external drive, I decided to give this a shot. Plugged it in, the PS4 formatted it, and it was done. Fast enough to run games and a quiet drive.

I have had no problems with this External Hard Drive. I had partitioned this HD into 4 partitions, and it has worked flawlessly for the past year and a half.
