This hard drive has worked out great! I had bought a couple of new games after the holidays and ran out of space on my 1TB internal dive and bought this one to help out

We bought this to upgrade our camera storage back up and works great. It was pretty much just plug and play on our DVR and server.

Works exactly as advertised. A 4TB drive you can partition to your heart's content. No issues setting it up. It runs nearly silently, a nice change from the drive it replaces.

Recently had 2 hard drives fail from another manufacturer. My WD hard drives have been more reliable, so I purchased this one.

I got this on a deal and it worked out great! Plenty of space available for all my back uo needs!

I use my hard drive mainly for gaming. As an accessory for the Xbox One it works flawlessly. Tons of extra storage and load times for games are significantly better. Great Buy.

Bought this to store all photo files while working with editing software to not hog computer drive. Has worked fine with my new computer, windows 10.

This hard drive is great! I have put almost 15 xbox one games onto the drive and have only used about 4% of the total storage space. I wont have to get a new one anytime soon.

This external hard drive is great for backing up my photos. The 4TB make it so it will hold thousands of photos, which is great for photographers.

The WD - My Book 4 TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive was very easy to connect to my computer. It also has been very easy to use.

I have been using PC's for over 30 years. Over those years I've found out which brand lasts, and which one's don't. Seldom will you have a WD hard drive fail. As a result, when I needed another external hard drive, I pretty much only considered WD, but wanted it at the best price. I had considered getting Best Buy to price match a competitor. But when I was ready to buy, Best Buy had that same low price. That's when I made my purchase. It's a high capacity drive, with a three year warranty, which means WD will stand behind their product. Couldn't be happier!

needed an extra external usb drive for my windows 8.1 system- size and price were good for this one. I have used lots of MyBooks or similar devices in past. this comes formatted in exFAT so if you are using a windows system (at least win 8.1) then it might be good to not leave it connected all the time as start up can hang. Had to reformat it to NTFS so it would play nice. Decent speed. quiet. it has no lights on it so the only way you know it's on is if you feel the hum or see it show up in your devices. no power switch for rebooting - have to disconnect power cord. probably wouldn't get again.

I have been using this external hard drive for backing up for over a decade. The WD MyBook works flawlessly.

Great HDD, I have copied over 3TB of data to it. The copy was very fast too compared to other external HDD's

I'm still working out how it will work for my specific use but it seems to transfer quickly and connecting it to my computer was quick and easy.

Bought this on sale with the VISA check out promotion. This is my second unit-- works great as extra storage for Xbox One and gaming consoles! No noticeable lag in gaming.

needed to get more space for my Xbox One. The 4 terabyte was on sale for believe 8999. Was it amazing deal now I have a total of 8 terabytes for my Xbox One

Quick to set up, decent speed. Being used as a backup device.

This is big enough for all my tax files, photos and everything else I need to keep a back up of. There is plenty of room to be able to add to with out running out of space.
