Easy for PlayStation 4

Good backup

Good external Drive for a good price

Works as an iMac Time Machine Backup

Reformatted the hard drive to Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with no issues. I backed up the computer as opposed to copying the previous external Time Machine HD. It took about eight hours, but that was expected. During the back up, was able to use the computer with no problems. As with an 8 TB model, noticeable sound when the drive is spinning, in this case when Time Machine is making a back up copy. Drive sits on a wood desk and the sound would reverberate, put an old rubber mouse pad under it for cushion and the vibration is greatly reduced.
