Very Easy Installation

I chose to use the WD backup software but the Acronis software is an option I might switch to down the road. I've never had to perform a restore and I'm hoping if I ever do that this performs well. I do like that it backs up all my programs too.

Great product and customer service
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upon opening the hard drive and connecting to my mac computer, I kept receiving an "error unable to recognize device" or something similar. I called western digital, and it connected me to their technical support (i think in India), and the representative was super helpful and walked me through formatting the hard drive for Macs and now it works great!
