    Not the fastest HD, but I only bought it for storage needs. The only problem I have with this unit is the lack of "ON" indicator. Love the 3-year warranty.

    Its gonna be a a blue drive which is still good. It does require a power source but it does come with the power cable. Good for backing up files.

    I bought this to replace an old WD My Book that is no longer compatible with newer OSs. In the reviews on Best Buy, someone mentioned that they has it connected to their ethernet port, so I bought it thinking that I could add it to my Motorola network router (which only has ethernet ports). It does not have an ethernet port. Do not buy this if you need for it to have an ethernet port.
