It worked great and was able to use it as an internal HDD. Swapped my old one in and used that as an external so over all it was handle and useful

Use it for Xbox One, it does get loud from time to time but it quiets down after loading.

Purchased this some time ago, and it is still working well. Security software excellent.

It’s ok in a pinch. You can hear the machine grinding away as it’s working with the computer. I have another one that seems much faster, much more stable. I had to get one quickly to put some backups on so it’s ok. If I wanted a hard workhorse, I would choose differently.

Purchased two to distribute record of a closing firm. Easy to carry. No isses at all using it

Don't expect blazing fast speeds or anything special, but it's a good drive which hopefully will last. I use it mostly for offline backups so it's not is connected or used on a daily basis. I wouldn't use a drive with this speed or size (3.5') for anything else really. I bought it for a good price and so far it did his job.

Good. Only one thing to note: On my Mac, every time it takes couple of minutes to show after attaching.

Use this to back up company files, large amount of space but a little slow to wake from sleep.

This external drive initially gave me some issues with my PC from 2014. The drive comes formatted in exfat file format. My PC wouldn't boot up if the drive was plugged in. WD support told me to format the drive in NTFS format. That fixed the issue and now operates fine with my PC. This info should be included in the instructions or the drive should be formatted by default to the most universal format possible.

It's fast and I have no complaints! Too early to tell about durability.

These are great if you want to archive data. Would not really recommend for daily use.

It's a hard drive, it backs up files. It does what it's supposed to. Pretty simple.

It works well. Go get you one now. I might go get another.

Does its job for seamless backup. A bit large, but not too obtrusive, and it works with Windows and MAC.
